NETSPECTRUM is currently looking to hire an Office Reception Clerk in our Sudbury Branch!

NetSpectrum Internet Solutions is a Northern Ontario based Internet Service Provider who provides internet service into rural and Northern communities. NetSpectrum is a division of Spectrum Telecom Group, a Motorola Solutions dealer who provides unified wireless communication systems across Northern Ontario.

Primary Accountabilities:
As part of the Administration team; you will be responsible for assisting the Broadband Administrator in ensuring accuracy and effective administration of all invoicing and billing related to new customer accounts, service calls, installations and all other chargeable services within the Netspectrum department. Providing these services in an effective and efficient manner will ensure the Netspectrum billing is kept accurate and up to date, as well as, ensure that our customers are provided excellent service.

  • You will meet and greet customers as they come in the door
  • Assist the Broadband Administrator
  • Answer phone calls, transfer and take messages
  • Process Payments
  • Maintain Customer Information
  • Update and Monitor our Ticketing System
  • Filing
  • Other Duties as Assigned

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license
  • 1 year in a related customer and/or technical support and/or operations/engineering role
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite, and other job-related software
  • Solid knowledge of networking and electronics theory, and electrical codes and standards relative to residential or commercial communications cabling
  • Basic working knowledge of RF wireless technologies and product, and wireless planning, design and deployment processes is an asset but will teach as needed
  • Basic understanding of IP networking
  • Must be comfortable working at height and off ladders
  • Ability to analyze and define problems, calculate figures and amounts, prioritize work flow, multitasking, meet deadlines, and remain flexible
  • Demonstrate attention to accuracy on all duties and responsibilities
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with Company and established safety policies and requirements
  • Ability to work weekend and/or evening work will be considered an asset

The Ideal Candidate will possess:

  • Bilingual is an asset
  • Knowledge of IT and ISP is an asset
  • College education in business and/or equivalent work related experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with above average strength in Excel
  • Comfort and experience working in a team based environment
  • An understanding of the importance of Confidentiality
